| 24-6-2009 - Why hello out there! | My mood while writing this blog:Wishing I could sleep |
So its 1:50 A.M. and I cannot fall asleep. I was laying in my silent, pitch black, cool room for a good hour and a half with thoughts of sleep but no go. My body just wont fall asleep. I'm totally hating this. Its a nightly occurance and it is not good for my family or me. Cause I do eventually fall asleep around 4 or 5, but end up waking up at the latest 8 and grouchy. I try my best to put on a happy face and do my motherly/home duties as I have always done before, but I always end up so upset and needing to sit outside on my porch wanting to break down crying. I'm not depressed or anything, its just that I am soooo tired and both of my boys have been acting up lately, it gets so frustrating. It will pass over soon enough like everything else does.
Besides that all has been well. Around 2 1/2 weeks ago my huband brought me 3 roses, just cause he loves me, and two of those roses are still alive and beautiful. They have actually been the most beautifully blossomed roses I have ever seen. And I have seen many roses, they are my favorite flower. I have also finished reading the first three books of the Chronicales of Narnia to my eldest. I still don't think he gets all that into them, but I'm happy knowning that I'm getting him started on none picture books young.
Oh yeah and my husband's cousin robbed a gas station at gun point (or so they say he did, he denies it was him) and is in jail. If we were in Phoenix nobody except the people involved would care, but we live in a town of around 8,000 people. I have already had around 5 people ask if we are related to him and then proceed to give us a look when we reply yes. It embarrassing! I my son's teacher has asked, my landlord, a cashier, a friend called just to ask, and at my husband's work they even posted the newspaper clipping up in the breakroom. But that is my husban's family for you.
It seems that all them men in his family have been in jail/prison and have some type of addiction. As a matter of fact all men in his family bearing the last name Leyva are locked up, except for my husband of course. I actually believe their upbrining had a lot to do with it. They were raised in the projects and were expected to provided for the family by any means neccessary. My hsuband says that if it weren't for me he would most likely be locked up or dead himself. He said that I held such a higher standard for living and was willing to do whatever he had to do to be with me. Thank goodness he never let the addiction part of his genes get to him.
BUT ANYWAYS!! Gosh I really get off track everytime I write. Now about my pregnancy.
I found out today I passed my glucose test perfectly fine. I was a little worried but no need. I have developed heartburn this past week. Everynight I have heartburn. IT SUCKS! I have never had heartburn before in my life, and I hate it. A glass of milk always helps but my tummy gets so full from all the milk I'm drinking. My little Mexican jumping bean has been moving like crazy lately. Only think is that he has been moving like crazy very low, and sometimes it can hurt. I'm really hoping for a September 2nd birth date so all the family can travel up here to meet the new addition since it will be labor day weekend, and I'll be having a planned c-section. My OB says he does his c-sections on Wednesdays anyways, so it looks good.
