Well before I go on about what is new with me I want to make sure that I tell all you wonderful women,

The end of my pregnancy is rapidly approaching and even though I don't really know any of you personally, you all have had a wonderful influence on my life. Your comments on my blogs, pictures, and profile always have brought a huge smile to my face. So thank you for having a positive influence on my life. I wanted to be sure and tell you all this before I gave birth and got busy with taking care of my new little man.
Now with that being said, I hope you are all doing well, are in high spirits, and in good health. I have been having a hard time sleeping lately so that is why I haven't blogged in awhile. My insomia has returned and I cannot go to sleep until around 3 or 4 in the morning and it is really draining me out. So each night I only get 2 to 3 hours of sleep until my boys wake up. And with that little amount of sleep and running after my 5 and 3 year old boys I have been drained to say the least. On my husband's days off he lets me take a 3-4 hour nap during the day so I can have some energy. But those days are becoming rare since he has been taking in as much overtime as possible so that he can get more days of leave to help take care of me after my c-section. But I can proudly say that even though our house is lacking much needed rest right now, we are handling it well. I think its because we know that in no more than 3 weeks my MIL will be here to take care of my older boys and take them to school so that I can heal and focus on our new baby. She is planning on staying out here for at least a month so that I can heal properly and to help our new transition.
Now with my pregnancy. I have been getting a lot of braxton hicks for the past 2 weeks. They are getting more intense and even closer together, but still nothing to be worried about. I have also developed a lot of discharge down there. I have to now wear panty liners so that I don't feel like I have pee'd myself. Oh and REALLY bad stabbing pains on my private area outside and inside. It literally feels like I'm getting stabbed with a knife in there. It stops me in my tracks and I can't help but yell out "Ouch!" "Owwie!". And it gets worse whenever I am walking a lot or cleaning the house. I can't even go grocery shopping for more than 40 mins. My body is done and I have to go home or I feel like I'm going to collapse.
Today I actually had my 36 week OB appointment. I told my doc about all my discomforts and pains and he said its all normal. He was concerned about the discharge and about my measurements, I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead so he sent me to get an ultrasound to see the baby's weight and how much fluid I still have in there. Other than that our little man's heartbeat was 150 and he is still in position. We got the paper work filled out and schedualed the amnio on 9/1 and the c-section on 9/2. And we talked about whether I was going to get a tubal done or if my hubby was going to get a vasectomy done. I am going to wait until I get a call back form my insurance to see which will be cheaper for us. I hoping the vasectomy especially since I had to go through 3 c-sections. Its only fair. But I should be hearing on that on Monday.
So after the appointment I went to the the hospital and had an ultrasound done. It was so weird seeing the ultrasound being done so far into the pregnancy. You can barely distinguish anything! My son had NO ROOM what-so-ever in there. He is just squished. My poor baby. I asked the tech if she could check the sex again cause my Mom is insistant that my baby could still be a girl, so she did and took a nice big photo of my son's giant balls, lol. She said there was no denying his gender. OH and she also said that he already has a head full of hair. Which I already knew, I am Mexican/American. We are known for having hairy babies. And get this part, I asked if she could give me the estimate on how much our little man weighs and at 36 weeks he is already weighing in around 7 lbs.! I stilll have 18 days to go! He is going to be a big baby, but bring it on I ready to met him already.
Actually to be honest I'm kinda tripping out. In a good/sad way. I sit here a lot in disbelief that I'm going to be a Mommy of 3 boys in about 3 weeks. 3 BOYS! How crazy is that? I've always said I wanted 3 boys. And then I trip out thinking on how this is going to be the last and final time I'm going to be pregnant. Its kinda sad. I don't want to have anymore than 3 kids but this is the last time I will be pregnant and thats it. I like being pregnant. Even with all the hardships that I have to go through, its just an incredible feeling knowing that a miracle is going on in my belly. I couldn't be more gratefull than I am right now in life. Life will never make sense but my family makes things so much clearer. Well I'm going to go ahead and end it here. I wrote an entire book, AGAIN!
So lots of labor dust to all of you who are at term and ready to have your babies, mucho baby dust to those of you TTC, and the best of happy and healthy wishes to everyone. Life is beautiful open your eyes and calm down. Don't miss a minute.
