Whew! Where do I begin. First off my apologies for not getting back to you. Thursday was a big and painful day. I stayed home from work from what was starting as the flu. Well at about 9 am I started getting my all too familiar kidney stone pain, It came on strong and fast (usually the pain gets worse as the day goes, but this came within minutes) I phoned my doc and left her a message.. Well within minutes the pain became UNBEARABLE!! I called my OBGYN & my MD not one was able to talk, I was screaming & crying and the receptionist decided to get me to the `on call ` nurse. Well screaming and crying in pain I asked what should I do? My doc wont call me back to tell me whether or not I can take a vicodin or Norco!?!? At this point I was crouched on the kitchen floor- Tom was out of his branch and at a branch kinda far away that day for work, I had no one to take me to the hospital. The nurse instructed me to call 911. So I did and within 5 minutes they showed up... Anyways went to the hospital, had some wonderful drugs (that were baby safe)and they found a total of 4 kidney stones,.. Marvelous... So I dont know if any of you have had kidney stones, I have had them since I was 12... I would take labor before kidney stones any day.. At least a baby comes from it. This is exactly what happened with Hannah. The toll your body goes through while pregnant is surreal. For me, my kidneys dont break down the calcium, instead it stores it and causes multiple kidney stones... Thats why I was induced 2 weeks early with Hannah, The pain was unbearable, they gave me an u/s after her delivery and said that there were too many kidney stones to count, ***sigh*** I dont want to take vicodin, docs dont recommend it, but they say you have to take it for the pain.. Anyways, When I came home I laid in bed and began a fever. Again no docs have called me back. Im surviving on tylenol. This whole weekend I have been coughing, throwing up, dripping snot, having awful constipation (from all the meds) It has just been non stop. Today I feel alright. Still not all myself. But I am at work. ugh. Easter was good for Hannah. She made out pretty well! She keeps talking about how the Easter Bunny pooped by our front door. (DH put coffee beans by th door and we told her the bunny pooped when he was hiding all her eggs! lol she thinks that is just hillarious. Well over the weekend DH made a comment about my belly getting so huge... Well I hadn `t gone #2 in like 5 days so when I finally `went ` LMAO all of a sudden the baby wasn `t as big as we thought... LOL... One thing that did make me smile during my pain was seeing Kinga had her beautiful baby and life is wonderful for her! Congrats!
How many weeks do you think I am? Answer in comments...
