17-4-2008 - Doc Appt

My mood while writing this blog: Anxious!

Well went to my Doc appt, yesterday! All is well! Baby is right on target!!! If the old wives tales about a BPM being under 140 are true- Well we are having a boy- 2nd appt in a row where my little peanuts heart beat remains at approximately 130-140! I just scheduled for my U/S and the big day is MAY 16th @ 12:15!!!!! YAYYYYY!!!! I dont know if I can wait that long. . . DH is already getting fed up with me asking if we can go to one of those 3d images that cost money! lol He was like we get a free one in a few weeks, we're not gonna blow that! He is right... But I am just anxious and excited by nature, I get the same way at Christmas and Birthdays. Yesterday I felt 2 big kicks, for the first time! I have only been feeling "flutters" for the past few weeks, but yesterday I felt 2 very robust "kicks". I love it. I miss being in like week 28-35 where your whole belly moves with the baby. Or waking up and the baby is on one side and your belly looks morphed! Anyways~ Thats about all that is going on. My oldest sister is getting married Satruday. Unfortunately there is some drama she and her fiance have managed to start with me and DH. And Im not looking forward to it. Im actually not wanting to go- and I wasnt going too... Long story short. Its her wedding day and if I didnt go she would hold me accountable for that till the day I die... SO I guess Ill go- just hope she doesnt expect me to cry like I am actually happy... LOL Anyways,,, Sorry TMI. Family dramz. Take care!

I feel the same way about the u/s. I was pleading my case about how great it would be to find out early and how we could see features......blah, blah, blah and he said pretty much what your's said. "Can't you wait a few weeks for the dr appt?". NO : ) I am so anxious. I keep having dreams. My last one was that I had an u/s and they said that they thought it was a girl, but to come back in 2 weeks. I went back and they said they were wrong and it was really a boy. I have this wierd feeling it is a boy. Our u/s is scheduled for May 13th...I can't wait!

Yahhhh!!! I can't wait until May!! We do not find out until July 7th but I'm going to try and get it the first week in June because we'll be leaving for vacation and I don't want to wait that long!!! Hahaha... besides that my docs office wants you to wait until you're 22 weeks instead of between 19-22...ugh! Sorry to hear about the family drama --- I'm with you though on not wanting to go. I don't blame you! Just go, you may regret it later in life (that's what I told myself when I went to my dad's wedding). Hope you're doing great!! That's awesome you felt some kicks!! God I cannot wait for that!!!
