29-4-2008 - I popped!?

My mood while writing this blog: Unsure

So here I am in the middle of my 18th week. Beginning of my 5 month journey... and I guess its apparent to everyone... "I am pregnant". I will admit that I have avoided the scale for a few days... I just dont want to know. I can see my body and the changes that are ocurring. This weekend at church, a person didnt know I was pregnant and saw me and said, " I didnt know she was pregnant!" And today at work my boss and co-worker said, " Oh my gosh... You popped over the weekend! " So I guess im ok with it? Right?!

I honestly didnt get this type of attention when I was pregnant with Hannah until about early 7 months. So I dont know how to feel about this. I want to take it as a compliment...But in the back of my head I hear an alarm going off...Should they be saying that this early?? Then I go check in the week 18 forum... People are complaining that they havent gained a pound... blah blah...ANYWAYS- So I am showing now... COOL!! I'll start to get excited!

Im a total retard these days. I am forgeting everything! I absent mindedly have been trying to turn my car off while it is still in park! The other day the remote was in the fridge.. Nice. Along with being a complete space cadet~ IM ON AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER- Honestly, My heart breaks for Hannah and Tom for putting up with me... I turn into the possessed girl in The Exorcist, then 5 minutes later im as happy as Strawberry short cake.. .I am praying for some type of balance. With a history of depression, the bouts that I get are pretty tough to deal with. Then my sister being a complete ASS doesnt help. At least I have one angel sister who I love to talk too. Anyways- Im blabbering...

OH !! The baby! I love him(or her).. I just found out today that this is the week they can now Hear everything! LMAO well let me tell you... Yesterday I was sitting in the car and for some STUPID reason (hormonal thing, see above) I started yelling at Tom about a stupid comment...Anyways...lol..... Right when I yelled I felt a big JOLT from my little one... It even says in the 18 week forum that they can be startled... So I thought to myself last night... oh poor baby, I bet that he can hear now... So I went and checked and whatta ya know! Scared the little man! Sorry bub!

( Oh and I am convinced that this is a little boy.. .I was looking at my tummy and the way I am carrying... It's ALOT higher than hannah! Hannah was very low! I remember asking the doc when I know I've dropped cause with her she was always so low.... Well this one is high, and I threw up like a 24/7 drunkard all in the first trimester, with Hannah I never threw up... Well who knows I might have to eat my words later~ Maybe each pregnancy and baby is different! We'll See May 16th!!!)
