20-12-2008 - The waiting game

My mood while writing this blog: ok

Timothy is doing so great. they took his feeding tube out today. he is now 5 pounds 2 ounces. the only thing we are waiting on is surgery for his hernia. with it being the holidays we cannot find a pediatric surgeon that isnt currently on vacation. they will not discharge him from the NICU until he has the surgery. so we have to wait. it really sucks because if we had a surgeon we could have him home on christmas. he is completely ready to leave but we still have to wait. hes such a big boy now. its amazing to see how much he has grown. i am posting more pics.

I'm glad that timmy is doing so well. It sucks to not have him for Christmas but I know you will make up for it when he gets home.

how unfair. I'm gutted for you that this is happening. Seems crazy that a hospital would allow all surgeons to e away at the same time so there isn't enough cover.

Just checked out your new pics of Timmy - he is absolutely gorgeous. You must be so proud
