My mood while writing this blog: inspired

First i will say Little Timothy was transported to arkansas today. He is still doing wonderful of course. The NICU he is in in Arkansas is great. we heard today before they got there to pick him up that its completely state of the art. He is in his own room that we can spend the night with him and the nurses are so nice. timmy was a little gassy and the nurse cuddled him to make him feel better. they never did that where he was at before. he is eating like a champ. eating WAY more than he is required to eat. he is 5 pounds 10 ounces....such a big boy. he loves to cuddle. and usually that is the only time he will wake up. he is able to wear newborn diapers now not just the preemies. which upsets me because we bought a bunch of preemie diapers and he isnt going to be able to wear them. he fits into preemie clothes still though. hes just growing so fast!!! im so proud of him! the nurse today said timmys hernia surgery was on monday. we thought it was tuesday so we have to check into that.

we stayed at the ronald mcdonald house last night. they are so great there. we were in the room and there was a knock on the door. they had gifts for us. there was clothes diapers bottles blankets...everything. at the ronald mcdonald house they stock food for everyone to eat. we went to the kitchen just to check it out and oh my gosh it was amazing. better food than i have at home! i have decided that when we get all settled that is one charity we will definitely donate to. they are so amazing and so helpful.

christmas was fun. we went to DH's uncle's house. all the family was there. we put up a big picture of timmy by the tree so he could be there too. everyone got along fairly well until there was an altercation between one of the cousins and his teenage daughter. but thats family lol. this was all christmas eve. christmas day we went to DH's grandmothers house and ate lunch. then we went to see the baby. had to wish him a merry christmas too!

i got a book from my MIL for christmas....its called the amazing mom book. it is so neat. it has a lot of interesting facts and stories about moms. im obsessed now. i recommend that everyone gets a copy.

we are on our way to arkansas tomorrow morning. we would have done it tonight but we had a lot of stuff to put up and had to finish getting the baby's stuff ready for him. hopefully he will be home on new years eve. what a great way to start 2009. me and my baby finally. oh yeah and the hubby too.
