My mood while writing this blog: nervous |
Timothy has surgery tomorrow morning. He has the one definite hernia and maybe a second one. so they will fix both if need be. they will also circumsize him at same time. poor little guy. I spoke with the surgeon for the first time this morning and smiled the whole freaking time. i knew he went to medical school in france however it didnt dawn on me that he was french. i mean a lot of people go to school outside of the US. so he spoke with his thick french accent and it made me smile (i really wanted to giggle lol) i love accents. anyway he told me that if they intubate him he will have to stay 48 hours after he comes off the oxygen. however if they feel he doesnt need to be completely under they wont have to intubate him. we will see. he said some babies come right off the oxygen but some take longer. seeing as my boy was breathing on his own since he was born i think we should be fine. so it may be thursday before we get him home. we were hoping wednesday but that is just how things work.
he is getting so big. he is 5 pounds 14 ounces. eating like an absolute champ. he is required to take 45ml every feeding. he has been taking 80ml. he is getting so chubby.
i am getting my implanon birth control inserted today. fun fun. im excited about being on birth control but nervous about how painful this is going to be. DH took the day off today so he could take me to the dr and stuff. he just loves to watch me get poked.
anyways i hope everyone had a wonderful christmas. and i hope everyone has a great new year!

I hope you guys had a great holiday and that the surgery goes well and your little man gets to come home soon. I can't imagine how anxious you are to have him home with you.
