13-4-2009 - life and times

My mood while writing this blog: cold

Things have been pretty good lately. Timmy is growing so fast he is already in a size 3 diaper and last week was almost 15 pounds. hard to believe he was only 2 and a half at birth just 5 months ago. he sleeps so well at night. once he finally stops fighting it lol. i still have to wake him up for at least one bottle over night but he is able according to the metabolic specialist he can go up to 5 hours at a time. he has started teething which is just so much fun lol. one night he cried for 3 hours straight. the poor little guy was miserable. finally at 1 AM my husband said we have to give him something. so he went to walmart to get the teething tablets. by the time he got back...timmy had cried himself to sleep. i thought it was hilarious.

the teething tablets are wonderful though. they really do relieve his fussiness. developementally timmy is doing ok. he can roll over however he doesnt do it much. he really just doesnt like to be on his belly...i think its because hes so round so he gets high centered lol. he giggles and coos a lot. he tries to hold his bottle but his hands are a little small yet to get a grip on it. he is eating solids....he loves carrots and sweet potatoes. not a fan of squash and he only likes green beans sometimes. he of course loves bananas and peaches. he's pretty awake most of the day except for a nap mid afternoon. he is finally into 0-3 clothing. i found a preemie outfit yesterday and held it up to him and really its hard to remember him that small. where does the time go?

so all in all timmy tots is doing great. life is going on. i have a friend who is pregnant, and my SIL's sister is also pregnant. both are around 22 weeks. my friend is having a boy and we find out tomorrow what the other one is having. my friend has 3 kids already but has so many questions. she seems like a first time mom and it cracks me up. but its nice that she trusts me to give advice. and its nice that when timmy is starting to crawl and be all independant there will be another baby around so i wont feel baby withdrawls lol.

well im going to close for now. got some housecleaning to do! oh yeah i posted some more pics too
