19-5-2009 - Update on my TIMMY

So we went to see timmy's pediatric endocrinologist yesterday. they have ordered blood tests every 3 months to keep an eye on his thyroid levels. they think actually he may outgrow his underactive thyroid which would be great! they checked his development and said he is right on track for a 6 month old. which is more great news. its always good to hear that your preemie isnt behind. he is still a little on the small side. he was 16 pounds even and 24 inches long. i knew the little chunk was feeling heavier.

he is eating well. although he is way more interested in baby food than his bottles these days. specifically sweet potatoes. he is so funny. we will buy a set amount of each baby food. if i try to give him anything even fruit and there are still sweet potatoes in the cabinet he will refuse to eat. when we run out of sweet potatoes he will eat the other stuff. its like he knows its in there. so weird.

we bought a new puppy. we had to replace our cat. we got a shih-poo. he is a cutie and has so much energy. he is only 7 weeks old so i know we have way more puppy stage to come. he has already peed on my bed which i am not happy about. we bought timmy a jumperoo and the puppy hangs out underneath it licking bubbas feet. timmy finds this really annoying. lol.

so thats how we are all doing.
