29-7-2008 - d/a update

My mood while writing this blog:

Gosh i'm so happy this d/a went sooo much better than the last one!! First off....it was hubby's first time being able to attend. As a deputy sheriff his schedule is so crazy and before today he worked everyday we had an appointment but luckily he was on leave for our big u/s which he got to go to. So it was nice having somebody there with me especially him. Only bad thing is once again my OB was running behind so our appt was at 3:45 but didn't get seen until 4:20. Thank God my blood pressure is back down to normal AND i've gained weight this time...a WHOLE 6 lbs so that puts me at 133lb!!!! My OB was so happy about that and so was I!! My d/a went pretty good...just did the normal measurements. She went to look for his heartbeat and she said he had his back towards mine because no matter where she went it was faint but it was still a good heartbeat...nothing to be worried about it was obviously just his position. He said he's head down...so yay thats a good sign!! She kept saying geez girl you look like your already about to pop cause your so small!! And boy do i feel like it!! Once our appt was over we literally sat in there for another 20 mins talking about the whole baby name "issue"...it was so funny!!! My hubby even told her she can name our next boy just so I don't if he doesn't get to choose the name!! LOL So it went pretty well!! This was my last monthly appt so she has started me on my every other week appts now!! YAY that just makes me think of how soon it is until lil Jr is here. The receptionist who scheduled my next appts for me did my next 3 up to Sept 9th but they it was too early to schedule my last one so she told me to call in and schedule it later i told her scarcastically "Oh i don't think we'll need it. I'm hoping he'll make his grand appearance by then." She started laughing and said by the looks of things I hope so too!!" I got a good laugh out of that. Well i hope everyone's week is going good so far and continues
