10-8-2008 - babyshower plus update

My mood while writing this blog:

some of u know we just moved in to our new place this past wednesday so our cable doesn't get turned on until tuesday so until then I'm stuck using the internet on my phone...thank God I have unlimited web usage cause I'm so lonely here while he's at work from 6-7 with no cable and I can't sit on my laptop all night on my "baby myspace" as Juan likes to call I-am-pregnant!! lol

our babyshower was yesterday...OMG it went soo good. I was really worried about it especially since everything got changed and replanned at the last minute. The lady who threw it for me did very good and was such a blessing. My cake was absolutely adorable and ill be sure to post pics when my internet gets turned on. The gifts...wow although not a lot of my friends were able to come I got soo many gifts. My parents and two lil sisters were there. His mom, dad, sis, neice and brother in law all came down. I got all my big stuff which I was really worried about having to buy before he gets here. My family bought us the pack n play I wanted. His parents bought him a bassinet, the soothing motion glider, and a whole bunch of clothes and other stuff. His sister bought the travel system, a lot of bottles, a huge case of diapers and wipes plus some other things. One of my friends bought the baby monitor I wanted. He got plenty of socks,hats and blankets which I was thankful for that cause those were the little things I hadn't picked up myself yet. My parents also bought us the diaper genie II...thank goodness cause Juan kept nagging about buying one like his stuff don't stink!!! =] He got soo much more clothes and poor Daddy Juan is going to have to give up his side of our walk-in closet just to hang up all Jr's clothes. Ugh I know I'm forgetting some stuff but I'm just so happy and thankful...it really went very good and I have no complaints. The food was so delicious and everyone cooked my favorite dishes!! YUMMMY and most importantly everyone enjoyed themselves and i got to see a few of my close friends before they head back off to college.

we started our classes the past tuesday...its been pretty boring so far I almost fell asleep both days but the educator is hilarious. we have our next class on tuesday (they're every tuesday n thursday nights from 6-8) and our next d/a on friday.
this month seems to be going pretty fast and I'm getting soo excited!! I still think he'll be here on the 10th but Juan thinks he'll be here on the 6th...who knows it would be just my luck I go overdue... I'm PRAYING I don't!!! well my fingers are starting to cramp from all this texting...I'm just so excited and wanted 2 share...hope everyone had a good weekend and i wish a happy week...YAY 34 weeks now hopefully only 4 left!!

I just moved about a month ago. It was so exhausting even though I could move a little easier during that time. I didnt have cable for the first few days either but it gave me plenty of time to shop and get the place together. Now that you had your baby shower you can get all the stuff away while you can. Congrats. I just got my baby shower invites in the mail and they are sooo cute. I cant wait. I also start classes in 2 weeks and I know that I will be falling alseep too. Good Luck with everything.

LoL Congrats on your beautiful shower! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who just moved.. you're not alone on that boat! I just wish we had more help.. I had to move so much it was just me and Mikey.. My brother helped with a few big things but not much.. It was EXHAUSTING. Hope you guys had good help! The only good thing that came out of it was I fell RIGHT asleep as I hit the bed at 2 AM, lol, I haven't slept like I did last night in a LONG time. 8 straight hours and I only woke up once for water.. I'd rather have sleepless nights though then have to do all of that again, we don't have cable right now either, can't WAIT to get it hopefully it won't take them forever to make it here, we have to call tomorrow. Otherwise I should have plenty of unpacking to keep me busy.. if I can motivate myself to get off my azz and do something that is! Hahaha. Take care.. woohoo! 4 weeks I HOPE at the MOST, lol. But who knows.. Mikey said that since my belly button is pokin' out now I must be ready... as he compares it to a turkey being done. LoL. Love him... Keep in touch!

You and that sweet bump look radiant! I am so glad your move went well and you are at least in your new abode. Sounds like the shower was a huge success and glad you received all your needed items! Now the fun begins putting it up!!!!! Almost there!!!!!

That is wonderful I am so glad that everything went well and you were blessed with all the good things over the weekend. Sometimes the smallest gesture means the most. So a grand gesture must be most wonderful. Hugs and love. Have you thought about doing a belly cast. I swear your stomach is perfect for it.!!!!
