25-9-2008 - what could this be?

My mood while writing this blog:
in pain

Okay so of course you ladies all feel my pain when i want to complain about the sleepless nights, restless legs, heartburn, headaches, back aches, contractions, bruised ribs, fatigue, pelvic pain and everything else BUT the big problem is a few years ago i had a hip injury. The doctors i seen did a half ass job and didn't even bother examining me (literally just asked me what happenend and where was the pain) said i probaly just bruised my tailbone gave me some pain meds and sent me on my way...i was only about 15 so i knew no better. Anyways well i still have complications with my hips and every now and then...typically maybe once every month they start acting up. I get these SEVERE pains and i freeze up. It feels as if my hip is almost dislocated and needs to be popped back. I used to be able to pop it back like leaning my back against a long kitchen counter or leaing over the arm of the couch but obviously i can't do that now or it'll hurt the baby. Anyways my hips started acting up last night and this is the worst its been since i've been pregnant. I was still half sleep trying to roll over in bed and YIKES there goes that shooting pain!! I started yellling and of course hubby hooped up screaming asking me whats wrong. It literally took my breath away and i was stuck. After the pain died down a lil i tried rolling and rotating my hips a lil to get it to pop some. I finally gave up and hubby helped me manage to lay back down. Well of course not too much longer i had to go to the bathroom and didn't want to wake hubby up since he had to be to work at 5 this morning. Well i swear to you ladies my bathroom is no farther than 10 ft from my bed. It took me at LEAST 15 mins to get to the door! (and we all know being pregnant when you got to go you got to go) Every movement of my hip just trying to pick my leg up i pratically fell over crying in pain ! NO exaggeration it hurts so bad on a scale from 1-10 it has to be a 9! But whats weird about it is if i'm laying or even sitting at a certain angle that excruciating pain will come back so its not even just from standing or walking! Well i dealt with that all night making my routine trips to the bathroom. The pain has gone down a whole lot and i was able to get up and move around a lil only every 3 or 4 steps it would start hurting and i would freeze up in pain. I realized after lil Juan does decide to finally make his appearance (i'm 3 days overdue) i'm going to start seeing a specialist because this is so ridiculous and obviously something is wrong for me to still be having these problems after so many years! Anybody have any idea what it can be?

you know what i had the same problem the hole time i was pregnant well I thought it was a injury from my job i was transporting a patient and she started to fall out of the lift and I lower her on top of me she was 300 lbs anyway the pain got worse when i was pregnant and my doctor said it was my cyatic nurve because it i was taken out of early

So sorry about the pain. I have hip pain being pregnant but i couldnt imagine the pain you are going through. I had a knee injury from playing soccer and dancing when I was 16 and the Dr told me just to take it easy so i know what you are going through. I get shooting pain in my knee every now and then too. You should def see a specialist ( maybe a chiropractor) to help you. Its might get worse after Jr. comes out since they take such a toll on your body. Good Luck He will be out soon.

Sorry that you had a rough night last night. That is f'ed up how they let you go like that with no type of x ray or anything. i hope Juan Jr comes soon so you can go get that straightened out.

I am so sorry to hear about your awful night. You need to get it checked out. I hope Juan Jr decides to make his entrance soon. I can't wait to see him.
