24-3-2009 - omg whats going on?

My mood while writing this blog: confused

Hey ladies. i know its been a while but i'm sure my LO has been keeping me extra busy just as you'll have been. Anyways i posted a question on the babies development pg but only got one response so i was hoping i can get more ideas as to what might it be. well anyways as you all know i had my son Sept 27th, i've only had one period since then which started nov 2nd. I am strictly bf him and on the mini pill, however since saturday night i've been spotting normally only at night time and i do mean like just a few spots, not even enough to wear a pad maybe a pantyliner. The blood was old blood but i noticed earlier when i went to the restroom and wiped it was bright red. I thought it was my period but i mean this spotting has been going on for almost 4 days now. If it was my period why would it come now, i'm still strictly bf him and on the mini pill? And why would i just be barely spotting for 4 days? I noticed also i normally only spot when i'm up and moving and i start having cramps. Ok now here is why i'm concerned. i had an abnormal pap last jan, the results i got in the mail said it was LGSIL. the doctor i had seen sent the results in the mail and it said i didn't need to have a follow up just go for my normal pap in a year. after i found out i was pregnant i brought it up to my midwife and she had me get a colscopy done, well went there got it done and the woman said everything looked fine. So after i had my son of course you know they do a pap at your post partum check up and my midwife called and said it was abnormal and she wanted me to go see a colscopy again off post this time. I'm getting a little worried. Could me having an abnormal pap have anything to do with me spotting? if not any ideas to what this might be? TIA

Well i had my 2nd colposcopy appt due to another abnormal pap LGSIL. The doctor said he did not see any cancerous cells while doing the colpo however he did do a biopsy and take a few samples as well as scape tissue (which was a living hell) from certain areas that he thought needed further testing. i will be getting my results back when i return in two weeks...the morning of my birthday apr 22nd. i am praying for the best for preparing for the worst. please keep me in your prayers ladies. i will keep you all updated. tia
