So i weaned my son off the breast about a week and a half ago completely after exclusively bf him for almost 10 months. I had horrible engorgement the first 3 days or so. The swelling has pretty much all went down. However in my right breast i have a hard lump...i'm not sure if its just an area where there is still milk that hasn't dried up or what. So i was trying to massage it this morning and clear liquid started leaking out. it was not milk...it was literally clear and runny it just leaked right out. is that normal?? i have an appt next week to get back on regular bc so i'm trying to see if this is just normal or if i need to bring it up to my doctor. Since the liquid squirted out it does feel like the lump went down some...should i continue massaging it out or just leave it alone? TIA

Once i stopped i had some clear fluid drain. So i think its normal...still ask your doc, he knows best. And massaging does help.
