02-9-2009 - UPDATE on negative blood test

My mood while writing this blog:
anxious

So after all your kinds words and encouragement i did call the dr office this morning. i spoke with an ob nurse and explained my whole situation. She did reassure me that it is not likely for it to be a tubal pregnancy or it would of spiked my hcg and my blood test would of came back positive. She said no tests are 100% accurate and thinks either i took a blood test to early or it was a lab error. So she insisted i wait a week and come back in to retest. Of course they are closed on monday so i have to wait until tuesday. So now i just have to find some patience and find something to keep my mind of the anxiety. Thanks again to everyone who gave me words of advice and encouragement, i really appreciated it ladies. I will update on Wednesday when i get my results.

Hello i have a quick question because i am kinda having the same thing that you were having....well i 4got to do my nuvaring this month i took it out on aug 2nd n i got my period from 5-9 then i was supposed to put it back n but 4got. and now if i would have put it in when i was supposed to i should have took the ring out on aug 30 and my period should have came 2 days later....my cycle is very normal at 27-28 days that was on and when i was off the ring. now here it is day 30th and no period. can you help me. do u think it is from not havn ring on for a month? i was feeling very dizzy a couple days ago and i have been crampn like craze but no period. i have taken 3 test n they all say negative. wat should i do

its the worst thing in the world to have to wait for news but it will go by eventually, best of luck to you. you will prob have a fair idea yourself by then cos your symptoms will be more pronounced i imagine. anyway i will be thinking of you and god bless :)
