09-5-2008 - 4 month appt update

My mood while writing this blog: Glorious

Well, I had my 17 wk appt and everything is wonderful!!

I only gained 1 lb this entire pregnancy and I am sooooo excited. I've been walking on the treadmill (only a 1/2 mile about 3 days a week) but it's obviously helping some. Also, I haven't been gorging myself. I eat till I'm content and never stuffed. Unless, I'm eating watermelon! That has always been my weakness!!!!! I LOVE WATERMELON!

The baby's head is measuring at 18 weeks and the body is measuring like 17.4 which doesn't alarm me because for one it's early and two...it's about now that the rest of the body starts catching up with the head growth.

The baby's weight is 6 oz and we found out it's a girl. I was skeptical at first because to me the pic looks like it could be the testes that haven't fallen yet. Since the pic is from behind you wouldn't be able to see the penis regardless. The baby had her legs spread wide for everyone to see. I think she was thinking..."Don't buy blue!!" hahahaha

My next appt is Monday, June 2.
