13-6-2008 - Concerned

My mood while writing this blog: Concerned

While getting my daughter dressed for daycare this morning she started to throw a fit and ended up kicking me in the stomach. It hurt but I think it is nothing.

Now, it's about 3 hours later and my belly is hurting around where she kicked it (I have no idea if it's the exact spot). I'm not bleeding but I started thinking about whether I had felt the baby move since the kick...I don't think I have. I drank OJ, which usually gets her roaring, but nothing. I recently shook my stomach around and nothing. Since I began writing this blog, I have felt her kick twice in my pelvic region because I'm leaning forward, squishing her a bit I think. I'm uncertain if I want to call the Dr. I am suppose to meet my husband for lunch today so I think I will make him bring my doppler so I can check her heartbeat. Maybe I am just sore from my pants or from the kick. If the kick hurts me I'm ok with that...I'm not ok if the baby was struck.

With this being my 4th, I know the baby is well protected but you never know and you will always worry.

Wanted to make a note of this incase anything did come of it.
