23-7-2008 - 28 week appt & 4D u/s

My mood while writing this blog: Wonderful!

Got back from my dr's appt and 4D u/s...it was WONDERFUL! She is thriving and still VERY big. She weighs 3 lbs 9 oz and measures that of a 31 weeker. The dr won't change my due date since I "Grow 'em big" and I know when I got pregnant. I don't want him to change it...I don't want her early...I'd rather have her enormous and healthy than good size and underdeveloped. Now, I know I have big babies but this little bugger gained 1 lb 14 oz in 4 weeks! That is absurd. She wasn't cooperative at all in the beginning. She gets her stubborness from her daddy's side of the family! Hahahaha

She is laying with her back touching the top of my belly, facing my spine...cradled in my pelvic bone (at least now I know why it feels like I've been carrying a brick in my crotch!). Her head is to the right of me and her legs are to the left. Anyways, I couldn't get her to move for anything so I left the u/s techs room and went to the other room for my appt. Afterwards, I went back in to see if she moved and she had! She is such a sweet girl!

I gained 5 lbs this past month for a total of 19 lbs for the pregnancy. Which is less than I thought I was at but really ok now that I know my baby is 3 lbs 9 oz of that! LOL

I start going to see the dr every 2 weeks now until I'm 36 weeks. My next appt is Aug 6. I am adding the pics to my album as soon as I post this blog, so be sure to take a look! Very exciting times ladies!!!!
