09-11-2008 - Post Partum check up and Olivia\'s first month with us

Hello ladies! I hope everyone is well. I know everyone is certainly busy taking care of their new little ones! I went to my post partum check up last week and have lost 21 of my 35 lbs of baby weight. I of course am not ecstatic about this but I won't complain...the rest I will have to work at. Upon checking me, the dr informed me that my uterus is still enlarged (I actually thought it was supposed to be but I guess not) and is the size of a 10 week pregnancy. Who knew? I guess it's nothing to be concerned about because I don't see him again until my yearly check up which happens to be in January.

My sweet Oliva who was born weighing 9 lbs 7 oz is now 13 lbs. She is one month old today! She is so perfect. She only cries when she is hungry, has poop or is over tired. For the past two nights she has slept so well. Friday night she slept 7 hrs straight and last night she slept 8 hrs. I'm so hoping she is setting her own schedule.
