| 25-11-2008 - 6 weeks old and a needed procedure | My mood while writing this blog:In Love!!! |
Well hello there! I have posted more pictures of my sweet Olivia. She is all smiles these days and absolutely gorgeous. I guess I am bias just like everyone else! She was 9 lbs 7 oz at birth and is now 14 1/2. She is just so darn sweet.
On another note, I had to go to the Dr Friday because I thought maybe I had a kidney infection. Well I don't. I was explaining to the Dr that I haven't stopped bleeding completely since she was born. I mean, it slowed to almost stopping (the brownish spotting) but never stopped in it's entirety and 2 1/2 weeks ago started up bad again. I attributed this to my cycle. It was REALLY HEAVY!!! She had to examine me and sent me for an ultrasound. I am just bleeding for no apparent reason other than my cycle. Even though I have my tubes tied she put me on Birth Control (Yaz) and estrogen to stop the bleeding. It did stop the first day which was amazing and of course I took advantage of it. My husband and I were intimate and it started again..it seems it WILL stop but after sex it starts again for some reason. The Dr has recommended me to have the Novasure procedure done. If you haven't heard of this, look it up. It's very interesting. It's where they burn the lining of your uterus and you never have a cycle again. It's the alternative to a hysterectomy. You have to be done having children and have a history of heavy or prolonged bleeding. I'm suppose to schedule it January after my yearly check-up. I'm very excited about it because no cycle!! WOO HOO!! It's an outpatient procedure and you can return to work the next day, however she recommends you get it done on a Friday so you have the weekend in case you have cramps or something. You keep your uterus and ovaries so you don't need hormones and still have your sex drive. Thought this was rather interesting and can't wait to get it done.
Hope you all are well and please stop by and look at my sweet girls pictures!!!
