My mood while writing this blog: confused

So, I am trying to figure out a great baby name for a little boy. Something different but nothing over the top. We have come up with a girls name (Lundon Michelle or Aurielle Lundon). Just out of curiousity I look up celebraty baby names. I knew celebraties tried to be different but some of those names were down right terrifying. I couldn't imagine naming my child some of these names. They would surely be scarred 4 life. I am confused as to why someone would not put seriouse thought into their child's name. I am all for individuality but come... on! Any suggestions on boys names?

When I was pregnant with my son, I also looked at celebrity names for inspiration, and I saw that Forest Whitaker had named one of his daughters Sonnet. I loved it, I thought it would work for a boy or a girl, and then I thought Sonnet for a boy and Sonata for a girl. Another celebrity used Poet or Poem, and I liked that. I didn't think those names were too over the top (of course I'm a nerd, lol) but you're absolutely right, some of those celebrity baby names are horrid. In the end, we were watching "No Country for Old Men" (at this point we knew for sure we were having a boy) and I commented that Josh Brolin had a cool, masculine last name, and I thought we could change it up and make it a first name, so we changed the "i" to an "a" and came up with Brolan. It was the only name DH and I could agree on! I think a lot of last names sound cool as first names. I also loved Mayer, but DH hates John Mayer so he wouldn't agree to it. I have a nephew named Lennon. I had a friend that was pregnant at the same time I was, and she gave her daughter Monroe as the middle name. I think it would have been gorgeous as a first name too! I love unique names. I love Lundon, even the spelling is pretty. Can't wait to hear what you come up with!
