21-7-2009 - Where is the excitment?

I will b 20 weeks tomorrow and that is a good thing but I am loosing my zeal for this whole pregnancy thing. I feel like those around me are more excited than I am. Maybe I'm just having one of those days. I had a lil disagreement with DH this morning. I am so not n the mood 4 stupid ?s. Especially the stupid one he posed this morning. I am feeling every uncomfortable from dry broken out skin to midnite bathroom rendezvous where I can't get back to sleep. I look over at him and just get pissed at the sight of him sleeping so soundly and I can't. I am feeling really bitchy today!!!!

It must be in the water, because last night by husband made me so mad. He just spolis our boys with fun, fun, fun, but we have a baby on the way and I feel that the fun money needs to go towards the baby right now. It has been a long time since we have had a baby, and baby expenses are not cheap. Needless to say I left the house for work this morning just telling him goodbye. Men just don't get it sometimes. Being pregnant seems so much like a female journey, and they are just along for the ride minus the physical changes!!! Girl I could go on and on, all I can say is Thank God I have a husband to share this pregnancy with because 11 years ago when I had my son, I was a single mom with no support from his father, and I count this time a blessing. I just wish he would be more understanding of the demands of pregnancy, work, school, kids, cooking, etc.

mrsrawley's- congrats on 20 weeks. count your blessings. I was on bedrest for 18 weeks and the doctors never thought that I would make it this far. They were anticipating a very early delivery. I am 37 weeks now Thanks to God and no matter how I feel I want complain, because there is always someone who has it worse than me! Good luick on that little girl or little boy!

I hear ya!! I got so irritated with waking up every 2 1/2 hours, and my hubby sleeping so soundly, that I now nudge him and wake him up too. He gets mad but hey, he had his part in makin the baby, so why should he get off that easy!!I told him I'm preparing him for when the baby comes!! LOL!!

Yep I'm with you. I have been having days like this today one of them. I felt the most uncomfortable so far, Was out shopping and my feet, legs back & bump all killed:( I am rowing loads with my hubby and no kids can do no right. I try not to be a bitch but the more i try the more I am.x

I feel your pain!! I hate the bathroom midnight rendezvvous! Plus I have a 9 month old that doesn't sleep thru the night very often either :(
