04-1-2010 - My Crazy Hubby

Well today I had my 36 week appt. Everything is going well...I am not dilalated, but my cervix is softening. The funny part about my appt was when my dr told me I had gbs...My hubby came with me to the appt (has been to almost all my appts) and when she came into the room and asked how I was feeling, she then said, "Remember the coulture we took the last time you were here? Well, you tested positive. It is a natural bacteria..blah blah blah." Well all my husband heard was "you tested positive", this dude gasped and grabbed his heart then dropped his jaw....I think he thought she was saying I had an std or something. It was sooo hilarious. Even my doctor was laughing. Poor thing didn't have a clue what gbs was. Then he thought she said gps not gbs. Men! ha ha
