| 03-11-2008 - The New News | My mood while writing this blog:Chilly, which is a nice change! |
So, now for pregnancy news: I have been growing lots, and retaining a lot of water. I'll put up a pic after I write this post. I'm wearing the same dress as last month, but you can sure see the change. I grew out of almost all of my maternity clothes (and I thought they were huge at the time)! So, over the weekend I got two huge bags full of the cutest clothes for $30.00!!!! I love Craigslist.org! Now I can have a different outfit on for next months pic. :) Also, I got a new bra. I can't believe it, I am a double D!!! And, I'm not going to be able to fit in it much longer. From 34A to 34DD. Wow. I don't know where I'll find a bra when I have to get 34F???? The retaining water part is weird because parts of my body that aren't supposed to be puffy are. Like the tops of my feet! lol.
The big event in the pregnancy recently is I had to go to the emergency room on Saturday. I've been really busy lately preparing the house for company next weekend, getting the baby's room ready, and taking care of a friend of ours son 4 days a week. Then, Sat. afternoon we went to an airplane museum and it was barely air conditioned in the hanger and some of the planes were outside. Well, it was ninety degrees that day and I am already having a really difficult time walking around because of my hips and inner thighs. Then, we got home and I ate a bunch of chocolate.
The reason I went is because my heart was beating really erratically and it felt like it was coming out of my chest. And it kept happening for, like, three hours. It was really freaky. I couldn't get a hold of my midwife and couldn't reach anyone in my family. Finally, I reached my mom and by then I was so worried I started crying. Right after she called a new midwife reached me and told me to go to the ER and get a EKG. We went to a new hospital and they were so awesome! We were in and out of there in an hour and a half and they were really thorough and did a bunch of tests.
Turns out my heart has always been erratic and it is completely ok. It's called PAC. I still get the same amount of beats as everyone else, just not as rhythmically. I guess when you become pregnant it is more noticable because of the extra blood flow. The chocolate (because of the caffeine) and stress will make it worse though. So, no more chocolate for the rest of the pregnancy (boo hoo) and I am going to tell them this for sure has to be the last week I watch their son.
So, anyway. Sorry this blog was soooo long. It's just been a while since I've been on. I hope you are all well and I can't wait to stop baby sitting so I can get back to my normal life again. Baby shower is this Saturday so I will send you all pics next week of all our new baby stuff! Take care, All :)
