06-1-2009 - Another Week Goes By

Hello Everyone. Just thought I would write in and tell all of you who are still waiting for your little ones to be born that I will probably be in the 41 week club with you.

Went to the midwife yesterday and I am still only one centimeter dilated, if that. He did move lower and I am softer though, so I guess that is some progress. I've been having contractions for about four days now so I was hoping that would do something down there, but I guess they need to be stronger. My midwife said to drink red raspberry tea to help strengthen them and to try some walking. Got the tea last night and going walking with my MIL and her boyfriend today.

Good luck to you all and for those of you the same week as me at least we know for sure we will see our babies with in two weeks. Congratulations to those of you who have already had your babies! xoxo

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! 4 days of contractions is NOT fun! I have also tried the Raspberry Tea (very yummy i thought, will probably keep drinking it ) - not sure if it's coincidence or not, but my waters broke this morning and I am having the strongest contractions. My little man is on his way!!!
