18-12-2008 - Pregnancy Update

Today I had to go for my prenatal care visit. Everything was looking good. But now I had found out that I am anemic. I have to take yet another prescription. I am already taking my prenatal vitamins, Reglan to help with my digestion and reduce my acid reflux, phenergan to help with my nauseau, and zantac or tums for my constant heartburn and acid reflux. Now I have to add Iron Pills to my list of medications. I never in a million years think that I would have to take medication through my pregnancy. Oh well as long as my baby is ok, I will take whatever my doctor prescribe me.

On my next visit I have to do this glucose test to check and see if I have diabetes. I am so praying that I don't have gestational diabetes. I do not want to have to take insulin shots through the remainder of my pregnancy. I have to drink this orange looking soda, hopefully I won't get sick. I heard it is real sweet.I think I will do ok though.
