01-4-2009 - AFP Screening Test

Ok I took the AFP screening test last week on Tuesday 24th...They said it usually takes about a week for the results...I still havent hear anything yet...No one has called me...I called the advise nurse 2 times but all they tell me that the results should be on document and the OB/GYN dept should receive the results 7-10 days from the day I took the test...I'm so nervous and impaitent to know...I just hope they call me soon and everything is ok...I didnt take this test when I was pregnant with my daughter and she is healthy as can be...So I'm praying my lil munchkin is healthy too...

No news is definitely good news. When my doc office takes labs or tests, they let you know that they will only call you if results are not normal. Otherwise, they will just go over results at your next appointment.

I would be the same way.........I go for mines next week & I hope that everything comes back fine. My prayers will be with you and your lil one as well, I'm sure everything will be fine :) let me know what they say when you hear from them! Good luck =D
