My mood while writing this blog: Happy

This is a poem my Mother wrote for me for Mothers Day today:

Little Tiny Ribbons,
Little Teensy Curls,
Little Frilly Dresses
Tipsy, toe, Twirls

These are the sweet
things I remember so dear,
Fond Memories I hold
of Yesteryear

My little girl
has grown you see
she went from 2
and before long hit 3

Then Kindergarten Came
and Fingerpaints
and ABC..s

Before I knew it
she was Multiplying
by threes!

And it wasnt long
until Barbie wasnt fun
anymore
the last thing I saw
was her going out the door

Instead of Mud Pies
and Dress up Play
She was storing things
in her hope chest
for that special day

Then she hit thirteen
my beauty so rare
She knew that I loved her,
that Id always care

Before long it was Sixteen
all Sweet and Sassy
Those days when
hanging with mom
was no longer classy..

Before I knew it,
she hit 18
Met the man of her dreams
and in the space of one
year, will be a mom it seems

Then in September the cycle
will begin again,
Little Tiny Ribbons,
Little Teensy Curls,
Little Frilly Dresses,
Tipsy toe twirls.
