This is Gramma Gwen again, I just spoke with momma and it seems that our little Lilly had an artery leading to her heart that failed to close at birth. Now I have heard of the condition known as PDA (Patent ductus arteriosus) I am assuming this is what is wrong with my granddaughter? I would appreciate hearing from some other moms whose babies had this condition and the outcome of it, I am scared to death for her now, she is just so tiny. Mom seems to be taking it all ok though, I actually think I am more worried than she at this point. They are going to do an xray of her tomorrow. What should we expect at this point?
