Hi my mum was a premie baby she weighed 4lb at birth! She was my nan's 3rd child. Her 4th and her 1st 2 were full term baby's. I don't know any one else that has had an early baby. However my 1st could have been but they stoped my contractions and I was able to go home and rest.... other than that I know very little at all. hope that this might be of some help though knowing my Nan had a full term after having a premie baby. I don't have a history of premature babies, except a coupl in the family, but my mom's family did produce a lot of babies that had autism, down syndrome (which is very rarely genetic) and other stuff like that in my family, so my doctor recommended me to a genetic conseulor, who could talk to you about your chances, as long as you have all that information about who in your family gave birth to a baby prematurely with you. Then have a perinatologist (sp?) which is a high risk ob/gyn who could run tests or keep a very close eye on you. The fact you have family history and the fact your little girl was born prematurely would be something they would definitely want to check out and something you should consider if you are wanting to have another little one. Best of luck hun!! If you need anymore info about high risk ob/gyns just ask me, just about all the women in my family had to see one including me.

That is scary, huh? If you and Gene decide to have another one soon... you might just have to put yourself on bedrest during your pregnancy to be safe! That is interesting to look back on your family tree...
