07-10-2010 - Whoa.

My mood while writing this blog: surprised

I just recently stopped breastfeeding (still have a 7 cubic foot freezer full to the brim) but decided to continue taking the mini-pill rather than switch to the regular pill so I could use the last 2 months up...wouldn't want to waste money, right? Two nights ago I woke up 4 times to use the bathroom and that was the last straw...I took a test. I had spent the last several days weepy and moody but thought it was PMS! Big fat positive on an early result test (6 days before your period is due). I haven't technically missed a period yet so it is super early. I'm pretty nervous, shocked, but also excited. Miles is 2 1/2 and Nora is only 9 months old! Pretty wild. I feel blessed that it has happened so easily for us but also it is not what we had planned. God has a different plan, apparently!

hey, congrats. i have a 2.5 yr old and 1 yr old and am pregnant again. yes, god works in mysterious ways. it took me forever to conceive the first one and went through all the fertility treatments and surgery and was preparing for IVF when i conceived my first - our miracle baby. i was told not to have hopes for a 2nd baby so there was no family planning and lo and behold, i got my 2nd miracle baby. just in case we were fertile again, hubby and i tried to take *some* precautions and as my 2nd turned one, i did i a pregnancy test and it a bfp. another miracle?? haha! all those years crying that i will never have babies and look at me now! ok, kind of freaking out, as 3 babies very close in age will surely be a challange!

Oh my goodness, lady! That's amazing! But now you have me paranoid! I've been taking the mini-pill too (when I remember) and have just stopped breastfeeding. Jeez, I guess I need to be careful! Were you pretty consistent about taking it at the same time every day?
