| 25-7-2008 - Poor Mia & the worst day of my life! |
My mood while writing this blog: ok |
Mia was refusing to drink Monday and i was getting really worried, went to docs and they refered me to hospital where they watched as she screamed for a bottle!
I was dreading what the doctor had to say they came in and told me Mia had to have some blood tests and a tube down her throat to get some fluids down her! I was so upset, i couldnt even go in the room with her so luke had to and i could hear her screaming!!!!
I just wanted to go in the room and grab her, it made me realise how hard it must be for mothers when they children are seriously ill.
We were up the hospital all night and then finally came in with blood results, they were all fine!
She has been diagnosed with reflux (in adult terms heartburn!) It gets mis diagnosed as colic alot so shes on infant gaviscon and ranitidine!
So far so good but i wouldnt wanna go through that again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday, 28 Jul Hey!
Hope Mia is oK now. As you can see, I am still pregnant! I'm 12 days overdue! I had a membrane sweep on Friday (my god that hurt!) and I nearly kicked the poor doctor!
I lost my plug on Saturday but nothing happened! This morning, I have been getting rather strong braxton hicks contractions with backache too.
I'm booked in for my Induction tonight at 8pm. I do hope all goes well I'm scared to death!

Saturday, 26 Jul sounds as though you've been having a hard time with Mia and feeding. George is on the boob and it is very stressful as it's all he wants! I really hope her medicine helps her, don't forget that the tummy strokes you learn in the massage class are supposed to help too. I have some infaacol ready for George in case he gets trapped wind, it must be horrible! Hope she i sdoing better now anyway and your feeling better too x R-N-E-Bump -
Friday, 25 Jul Oh I'm so sorry you had to endure that. I know how hard it can be to see your baby in pain. I can't even get through shots without bawling! I'm glad they diagnosed her problem and it's not anything serious. I'll pray the medicines work perfectly for her. Poor little sweetheart! -newnaam -
