My mood while writing this blog: annoyed. |
Im sooooooooooooooo annoyed at the moment! My partner luke has been working all day then he came home early (4pm) i was really happy, i thought hes gonna spend some time with me and mia.
I was soooooooooo wrong!
He has only just got in from talking to neighbours and raking the front garden!
Am i missing something????
I have had mia all day and havent even had tea, he hasnt once come in and asked me if i was ok!?
Mia finally got to sleep at 7.30pm.
Sometimes i think to myself would i be better single??? I know it may sound bad but i just wanted 5 mins to myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday, 29 Nov I thought I was alone in this one and so glad I'm not!! I'm only on the net now cos after having to ASK Keith to feed OUR son I decided I'm gonna leave him to do the rest of the evenings stuff. He never offers to feed Josh or actually seems to want to do it, he never notices his nappy needs changing or baths him or anything. He does work hard which I do appreciate but I am a full time, pretty much single mum and I make his lunch for work and have his dinner on the table when he gets home along with a million other things!!!! He doesn't even seem to have missed Josh while he's at work and he'd sooner stick a dummy in his mouth and watch the tv than actually play with him!!! I feel so glad to have had this vent even though I realise I'm about 2 months behind everyone else!! newcastlechick -
Friday, 26 Sep Hey i know exactly what you mean!! Happens ALL the time here, ive resorted to stopping asking him when he's gonna spend time with "us"
he got up this morning was talking to Zane i then said come into the living room with us, he said im tired im going back to bed!!! i said dont you think you should spend some time with your son, to which he said "put him in the bed with me" he doesnt even know his rountine!!!! i said it isnt bed time for him he's just got up he goes to bed again in an hour, he looked at me and went back into the bedroom!! Aarrrhhhhhh sod them all!! (apart from my son of course lol)
I think he thinks being a parent is cooing over Zane for 10 mins a day! TW*T!
well there you go! your missing nothing, men can pop out to shops, pub, see friends on a free for all whenever they want, i wouldnt dream of just doing that and leaving Zaney!
So thats my rant over as well HA HA shelleyanne -
Thursday, 18 Sep Hi
I know how you are feeling, I think we all go through this patch. It really annoys me when you are up all night feeding them and your husband tuts when your baby screams like it's interupted their 8 hour sleep! Sean does that, and he goes out and mows the lawn after work like it's him that needs a break!
What I tend to do now is be ready when he gets home either to go out for a meal (altogether!) or say here, can you look after our baby, i'm going to tesco. I do that all the time, just a nice break for once to get in your car, put the music on loud and drive above 40mph! hehe. Even to wander round tesco like a snail seems to calm me down if i need some "me time". I don't think men do realise how much looking after a baby is a full time job. ALL day and ALL night!
Other than that, how are you feeling? love the new Mia picture! I have loads to put on of Harrison but I just haven't had the time! x R-N-E-Bump -
Tuesday, 16 Sep Oh my goodness, I totally know what you're feeling right now! Glad you got it all out on a site where you're for sure going to get the support you need! lol! Sometimes i think men haven't a clue how much work it is to care for our little ones. Not that they do it on purpose. But it would be nice to go away for the day and leave the kids with dads and see how they feel when we return! lol! EloiseAndHarrys-Mummy! -
Tuesday, 16 Sep oh i totally understand, i have those feelings all the time. I agree with daisy, you need to just pass her over and walk away. my time off is if i plonk her on him and go have a bath thats all i get. Paul gets off work comes home goes on the net i make him tea and a few nights a week hes pretty much out again to go to darts so i full know how you feel. he just had two weeks off and when i asked for him to share night feeds he moaned cos he was on holiday. i then moaned about it infront of him to his mum, in a sarci way and he did more lol. not that he kept them up since hes been back at work lol i also agree that men dont think lol. it will get better though, honest!
