11-2-2010 - 35 weeks update

My mood while writing this blog: Tired

Good morning Ladies-i hope you are all doing great and sleeping a little better than i am these days :-(

Ok so on monday i had my ultra sound to see if my placenta has moved up enough to allow me to have a natural birth and thankfully it has, which i am delighted with as i really didnt want to go down the road of a scheduled C-Section.

The u/s tech told me baby is doing great and is a pretty big one, weighing in at 6Ib 6oz's already :O which is a little scary as she says between now and the birth the baby will put on about half a Ib per week and at that stage i had another 5weeks and 5 days left to go. She said not to diet but maybe to avoid really sugary things when i can as any extra sugar i intake will go to the baby- so i'll have to cut back a little i think.

Im due back to my Dr in 2 weeks but not at the hospital for another 4 which means im not in there again till the 10th of March and im due on the 19 of March, i was just wondering if anyine else has this long a wait for there next appointment this late in their pregnancy.

I am glad that you and your baby are doing good.For placenta do not worry i had same with my pregnancies and i give natural birth to all three my children.Take care p.s.I had every two weeks appointments and doctor said because all look good so do not worry about that

Sounds like baby is doing great and is a healthy lil one! :) I started seeing my doctor once a week at 36 weeks... I have never had any appts at the hospital tho.
