10-6-2009 - Broke and scared! worried!!!!!!My mood while writing this blog:
worried!!!!!!

I am roughly 10 weeks along and I have yet to set an appointment with a doctor. Before anybody gets on my ass, let me explain that I have applied for Medicaid, I'ma full time student, and I have no family to fall back on.

Pretty much I have no money. None! I buy food and thats it!

I dont have a job and where I live is in the middle of the boonies so Im outa luck. I have tried to get hired before but the economy sucks right now and its virtually impossible to get a job. I simply dont have the cash to pay for a doctor's appointment and I feel horrible. I just hope nothings happened to my seamonkey and that I will get medicaid befor the month is up.

hey, i know exactly what you mean, i was in the same situation when i got pregnant. you can go ahead and make an appointment, just make sure the obgyn you see takes medicaid. tell them you have medicaid pending, and they wont change you at the appointment. once your medicaid goes through, they will go back and pay the past 3 months of bills you have. you just have to stay on them and make sure it goes through soon. it is supposed to take around 45 days, but i had so many problems with them that it didnt go through until he was 3 months old! so it was a good thing i didn't wait til it went through lol. and they had to go back and pay for me bc they messed up. i know how hard it is dealing with them, but it will work out. you dont usually get seen until after 10 weeks anyay so i am sure you and baby will be ok. hang in there! have you applied for WIC yet? you can get milk, cheese, eggs, juice and a few other things every month while you are preg and then even after that if you b/f. it helped us out a lot.

I will not get on your ass because I have kind of gone through what you are going through right now. I have a job but during my last pregnancy I didn't have any medical and didn't know I was preggo till I was 8 weeks along. When I did find out I applied for medicaid or mdicare to. It takes a little while before they approve you. But regardless you should be alright if you havn't miscarried yet then nature should be taking it's course. Regardless back in the day people never went for doctors visits all the time. When you were ready to give birth that's when you went. I hope all is well for you and your sea monkey hehe. If you are meant to have this baby then it will happen. My first preggo I wasn't supposed to have it, I guess it just wasn't the time. Your belly is still growing right? As long as you still have the symptoms like sore boobs and all that then you should be fine. My doctor told me last time that I was probably going to miscarry because my boobs stopped hurting me. Let nature take it's course and if anybody has anything bad to say about it, well screw it. Only you know what your going through and how you feel. If nobody can be understanding of your situation then you don't need that kind of negativity in your life right now. Your obviously doing all you can and that's all you can do. Good luck and let me know when you get that first doctors appointment.

Have a beautiful day and don't lose hope!
