09-9-2009 - family Mix-ups

My boyfriend has a little boy from a previous relationship. James is 6years old sand has never met me before. Simon wasn't allowed in his life until quite recently... His ex met up with him yesterday and when she found out we were moving implied it would be nice for James to visit during the summer... (we would be living near the. major Florida theme parks) and needless to say... lm really worried!don't know how James has been raised andI have certain morals I want to raise Veda with... l Know Simon hasn't spent much time with James and will prolly be stuck playin the ' I dont see you so I'll let you do whatever you want' game, and 'refuse to cater to a 6yr old! just have a feeling this is gonna end... ugly! sigh.... Im a divorce kid so of course I'll be kind but I'm ot this kid's mom...i have rules and if you dont like them then go home! I don't want Veda to think that she can do whatever she wants when James is over...hopefully we can have him visit when he's still very young so he has an oppertunity to meet me and get used to how things work inmy house before all the hormones kick in.....
