02-6-2008 - 31 week update + belly shot

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

Nothing too much to report on this week. I am still feeling quite comfortable. Only slight pelvic pain but nothing too bad. I have not put on any weight this week. I often find that I slow down at this point and although baby gets bigger I seem to stay the same weight. We'll see before long I guess.

Life is remaining busy. With the kids sport and music plus church things, catching up with friends, having family stay, things are moving by pretty quickly. Every week we have a group from church that meet at our place, we now have up to 30 adults if all come and 15 kids + 2 babies on the way. It's lots of fun and I do enjoy it. Sometimes we sit around with coffee and discuss various issues. Other times we encourage and pray for each other and for a really full on night we have a shared meal. Wow, what a feed!!!! We have a great time but our house is bursting at the seams when all of us turn up.

I know I keep saying I will slow down but I don't think it is really an option for me. I do make sure I get my "feet up time" in the afternoon but even though I am right now, I am aware that I have 3 extra kids here at the moment. They are all great and are playing nicely so thats the main thing. I do believe that a large family also enlarges your capacity to do more and to cope with a more hectic lifestyle. Although we are busy it is not a rushed busy (not usually), it's an enjoyable busy.

Jaxon seems to be doing well, he is constantly moving. He seems to sleep all night (long may that continue) I only need to get up once to the loo in the night and that is not usually until about 4:40am. No complaints in the sleeping department.

My parents just brought me a brand new Baby capsule and pram. The capsule fits into the pram. I had one that was a similar idea but I lent it out to a friend. She felt bad when she returned it as there was a bit of wear and tear on it. I wasn't too worried and was still prepared to use it but my Mum tried using the push chair with my 2 year old and decided there was no way she wanted me using it. The capsule is still fine and you can still use the push chair, it is just a little loose in some connections and the buckle will not open. I am sure I will find one of my expectant friends will take it.
The new one is amazing, the best I have ever had. It is a jogger one with the bigger wheels for off roading. I guess No.6 deserves something new and I am very greatful to my parents.
