This past week has been great. I had a week of taking it easy. I actually behaved myself.
We had a super quiet weekend and had a family night on both Friday night and Saturday. We spent time together and watched a family movie that we projected onto the wall. It was heaps of fun and great not be going out here there and everywhere.
On Sunday we had church in the morning and evening and we had a few extra kids over to play. The extra kids were fine as we had had a couple of days to chill out beforehand.
On the Sunday night I started to feel my stomach churn like I was going to need to make a mad dash to the loo. I was at the church and really didn't want to be in a public toilet so urged David to get going. I am glad we made it home in time, just!!! I was not vomiting, just the other end and that set off some contractions. I started having quite strong BH contractions and they were coming every 4 minutes. I was definitely taking note of them and if they had started to get any more uncomfortable I would have called my midwife. This went on for a couple of hours before things settled down. I went off to sleep and today I am fine. I was beginning to wonder if this baby had decided to make an early entrance into this world. It's a bit too early for my liking. I feel like Jaxon is down quite low but I think it was the tummy upset that set things off.
It's pouring with rain here at the moment and I am pleased to be inside at home. The girls have netball practice tonight. One has already been canceled so I am secretly hoping the others may be also.
I see my midwife in a weeks time. I am still only seeing her every 4 weeks. It maybe every 2 weeks from the next visit. We don't do internal exams during pregnancy in N.Z to see if any dilation has happened. You can request it but I would rather have as little prodding and poking as I can.
