13-7-2008 - 37 week update and belly shot

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

Full term!!!! bring it on. I love being at this stage. It's the excitement that at any stage we may be holding our next little babe. I am not feeling at all impatient and am really enjoying this pregnancy, I think this has been my easiest so far. I am going to really miss feeling Jaxon wiggling around but I also know I am going to enjoy the closeness of breast feeding.

I have decide to try using some Purelan nipple cream this time. I have never used anything before and I normally have a couple of weeks of having dry and slightly grazed nipples that are a bit uncomfortable. It will be interesting to see if it makes a difference.

I can't say I have any signs that labour is about to begin, in fact, I have been having less BH over the past week. The only thing I did have the other night was loose bowels and it made me wonder if something may be up but nothing came of it. I have been doing some major cleaning this morning, mopping floors, washing etc. Maybe it's a bit of nesting but then again it really needed doing.

My sister in law and her daughter are staying with us for a couple of nights. My husband has just gone to pick her up now. Who knows, maybe she'll get more than she bargained on and be here for the birth.

I have most stuff ready for our homebirth, Jaxons clothes are folded on the end of his cot and I have things ready at my finger tips. The only thing I need to wait for is my midwife to return from Samoa. She arrives back today but I'm not sure what time. I see her tomorrow afternoon so I will do an update again tomorrow if I get the time. For my last two births, this is the last appointment I had before going into labour. Who knows what will happen this time.

I think that you look about the same. Maybe a little more popped out than last time but not necessairly bigger.

It's so hard to say if you look bigger now or then. You look great though. Good luck to you, and I sure hope you get to meet your little one any day now.... I'm hoping the same for me, but I'm a bit nervous when thinking about it. So I try not to... lol Keep us all updated hun, have a great day...

Are you going to use the nipple cream before baby comes or only when you start breast feeding? I've heard it's good.. at least you don't have to wash it off whenever you breastfeed
