Amelia has started staying awake for longer in the day now, she'll either stay awake between her 10am and 2pm feed or between her 2pm and 6pm feed. But once again she's so content and is happy to just lie there in her pram or in her bouncer without needing me to fuss her or give her attention. It's really hard not to just pick her up all the time and cuddle her but i'm being strict now so that i don't pay for it later. As i know so many babies that were as good as she is at this age but when they then get to about 3 months old, they'll constantly cry unless you're holding them because they were cuddled so much and always been fussed in the beginning. She's still feeding well and is having nearly 4oz every 4 hours now. The health visitor was concerned about her belly button as it still hasn't healed and is giving off a bad smell. She has advised me to clean it, keep it dry and let the air get to it. If it hasn't got any better by the end of the week then i have to take her to the doctors. Rich came round on the 30th and stayed about half an hour. I took some photos of him and Amelia. He showed more interest this time but you could tell he was a bit nervous and wasn't quite sure how to hold her. She was a bit unsure of him at first and was giving him filthy looks it was quite funny. But she did me proud and was awake the whole time and didn't make a sound. She was weighed again on the 31st and was 10lb 9.5oz. Her red marks have nearly gone on her head now.

I went to the doctors on 28th and have been put back on to my anti depressants. I know i need them to help lift my spirits and give me motivation, as recently i haven't been wanting to go out or do anything in the day. My stitches have dissolved and i'm feeling fine physically. My bleeding has nearly stopped and my breasts are no longer leaking. I'm feeling quite tired but are unable to sleep in the day.
