11-10-2008 - Madison---One Month Old

My mood while writing this blog: in love

I can't believe Madison is one month old today. Time is flying by. Andrew is being a great big brother. He has had no problems adjusting to having a new sister. I was worried since he has been the only child for 5 1/2 years. He always wants to help. He is a all boy. He does make me nervous around her, he gets too wild sometimes. She is sleeping about 4 - 5 hrs at night between feedings. She sleeps about 3-4 hours between feedings during the day. She is a mommy's girl. She likes to fall asleep on my chest after eating. Daddy tries it but she always wants mommy. Daddy said he does not have pillows for her to lay on. I can lay there all day with her and just stare at her. I am dying to see the first "true" smile and to hear the first laugh. I love to hear babies laughing it the best sound in the world.
