14-4-2008 - WEEK 35 UPDATE

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

35 weeks~

Well, experience has told me that this would happen again, and it has! I am over being pregnant! Tomorrow, I might not be, and it is not because I am in a hurry to see my baby girl, it is just because I am so much in pain with backache,(I have a bad back), and varicose veins deep in my legs and vulval region are causing pain, and I am so swollen I feel like I have given birth down there. Swelling in my face hands and feet has got quite bad too, and my bp has risen again, which has made me a bit upset, as when I have high bp, I am irritable and feel really yuk! and I can barely drive now, as my tummy reaches the steering wheel, lol! I don't mean to whinge, but you guys who have had babies and the ones who haven't at the same stage as me, can probably relate, eh?

Enough of whingeing, I enjoy the movements of my little girl, and love to be pregnant, when not in pain, this will be my last baby and I want to enjoy these last few weeks, lets hope that these discomforts go away.

I also hope I don't go overdue like I did with my last two 41 +weeks is no picnic, I didn't know my LMP(last menstrual period) with my last two, as well as this baby, so I am going by an early scan, which I heard is pretty accurate, I thought I was due around the 18th, but the scan said the 20th of May, so I am going with the latter, with my 5th baby I was actually out by two weeks, as I ovulated twice in one month, well, that is what they reckoned, and I thought I was due two weeks before I actually was, that was incredibly hard to wait through, believe me!

I have had no more contractions to speak of, and there has been no change to my cervix, everything just settled down, which was incredible, I actually thought I was going to deliver, it is so odd, how the body works sometimes.

My bellybutton is about to pop soon, my tummy is so tight, and I know I am much bigger in the tummy than I was with any of my others, yet she is not a huge baby, the doc said she is average, neither too small, or too big for her gestational age, so Idk.

Anyway, my lovlies, I have probably surprised you all by venting a little, as I don't usually do that, I would rather help than go on about my problems, but see, I am human too, and I do go through stuff as well, lol! I will see you all at 36 weeks, watch this space!
