My mood while writing this blog:

Hi to all my lovely friends!

I have read a lot of your comments and congrats and am working to answer all of you at some stage, but it has been so hard to even get on here.

Eden is doing well, but I had lost a lot of blood after having her, and am still losing quite a lot, I had low iron stores before I gave birth and I am now feeling pretty weak even though I am taking iron tablets.

I got mastitis soon after she was born, and am on antibiotics to clear that up, and have been feeling pretty emotional and down atm. Eden is unsettled and doesn't sleep well during the day, she has longer stretches at night, but she wants to be with me all the time, which is pretty taxing when you have other kids to take care of. This is the first time I have been on the computer and been able to do anything for a long time without her wanting me, so I ask your patience in getting back to you all, and thank you all for sending your love and congratulations to me on the birth of Eden, I love you all!

I am not getting back to normal as soon as I did with my other pregnancies, maybe it is because I am that much older, Idk, but the birth and the days after have been pretty hard, I actually feel like I have been hit by a truck.

I should be sleeping now, so I will finish this off and go and have a little rest, hopefully I will manage that, the boys are in bed, and Eden is in her little basinett, so as they say, sleep when baby sleeps.

Hope to chat soon my friends, I miss you all soooo much, and some of you are about to give birth, don't forget about me, I haven't forgotton about you, just haven't been able to get on.

PS(I HAD A SCAN OF MY LEG, AND I DO NOT HAVE DVT(DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS) THEY RECKON IT IS PROBABLY A PINCHED NERVE FROM GIVING BIRTH TO HER)

I'm sooo glad your leg is ok. You sound like you need a break, but I guess thier is not going to be much chance of that in the near future?

You should take it easy, and I really wouldn't worrie too much about us lot. We'll all be here for you when you have a little more time on your hands again. :-)

Oh, my partner finally plucked up the corage to tell his mum about our pregnacy, I doubt very much now that I will hear the end of it for a long time!!!!! but at least she now knows. All the kids are sooo excited, they keep telling me it has to be a girl, I think they will be sad if it is a boy again but I know they will love it what ever. :-) I think we have decided on William for a boy. Still not sure on a girls name, but i'm still convinced it will be a boy. The kids have mentioned Poppy for a girl as our field is full of them at the moment and it looks stunning.
Anyway you need to look after you at the moment and all the rest will fall into place. Take care and get plenty of rest. :-) xxx

It is great to hear from you. Take care of yourself and the little one. Sorry to hear that you are not feeling great. You are in my thoughts and hopefully you will be feeling yourself again soon. Eden is absolutely beautiful. So sweet. Cuddles to you and her.

ah my friend, so good to read an update from you, and thrilled to hear that you do not have DVT!!! I am sorry to hear you're feeling low though, I really hope you feel better soon - just remember that we're all here for you, and please don't feel under any pressure to message or even come on here... the most important thing is that you see to yourself and your family, and make sure you have a good and restful recovery. We love you and will be here when you're ready!

Only 10 days to go for me... and the doc's appointment today went really well.. baby boy has stopped growing like Godzilla, and is actually a very reasonable 7 odd pounds at the moment... the doctor reckons he won't be more than 8 pounds by our due date next friday... I can have a normal birth! No Caesar, no early induction... I am very very thrilled! Anyway, just thought I'd share the good news!

Its great to hear from you, but just remember whats most important right now is you and your babies. Get well and look after yourselves, I m sure you will be feeling 100% again soon and then we can catch up.

Congrats on your baby girl, and I know about DVT's. my mom had one years ago and god healed her of it.
