31-5-2009 - my hospital visit

My mood while writing this blog: worried

so i went to the hospital b/c i couldn't keep anything down for more than 24 hours and i was having some cramps so i waited til my hubby got off from work which was 1am and we didnt get a room until 3:30am took forever so the nurse told me that i needed an u/s and that since my bladder was empty they had to put in a catheter to fill my bladder and i never felt so wierd in my life lol so the u/s tech came in and my u/s lasted 45 minutes to an hour and she told me it was too early to know the sex of the baby so she took lots of pictures and measurements and she told me my baby is breech and i have placenta previa which i guess she is saying that the placenta is laying over my cervix but it should be off to the side so i know for sure i'll have to have a c-section which i already knew that lol so i finally got to leave at 8am and i'm supposed to make an appt. and see my OB tommorrow and i'll probably be put on bed rest????

does anyone else have placenta previa??????

we planned this pregnancy and it seems like everything is going wrong like now i have gestational diabetes, hypothyroidism, placenta previa, and a breech baby she said the baby may not be able to turn b/c of where the placenta is.............

all things happen for a reason...i have thyroid disorder as well, just make sure you are taking your meds they are very important for the baby. i am sure everything will all work out for you...good luck!!!

my sister had placenta previa and her doc told her she had to have a c-section but towards the end of her pregnancy it corrected itself ans she was able to have a vaginal birth
