04-8-2008 - Mommies Losing those Post Prego Bellies

I am so happy to know that Atrip1 decided to create a way for all of us post prego mommies to help each other lose weight by keeping one another motivated. This was the best idea as I....must get this WEIGHT OFF! I have two months (October 18) before my husband and I "renew our vows" where I have to wear my wedding dress on our one year anniversary. We were in the process of planning this big huge wedding when we found out we were pregnant...so we decided to go ahead and get married at the court house last year and just have a "REAL BIG" wedding this year on our anniversary to renew our vows. I thought it would also be special to have "LONDON" participating in mommy and daddy's special day. He will be the little ring bearer...oh how cute I can see him now, lol.

Anyhow with that being said I weighed myself to day and I need to loose atleast 25 lbs or 30 would be nice but I may be pushing it with my time frame to get it off. Wish me luck ladies as tomorrow will be a new day of healthy eating and exercise.

Hey - good luck and congrats on renewing your vows! I wore a girdle while i walked and exercised for me the most part all day - it worked wonders - lost the baby weight and got the belly right all in the same. Oh eating small meals 5 times a day helped followed by green tea after my last meal for the evening! Good luck!

Try this recipe it is the flat belly shake recipe... you can put any fruit... I like bananas and the flax is a must. they also have this Kashi Granola mix w/ flax seed in it. I eat it with fat free vanilla yogurt.. taste good. The flax seed is a must to lose belly fat!!! Oh yeah and sit ups, do 4 sets of 20 4 times a week. leg lifts will get those lower abs goooood!! Bring the pain! Good luck mama. I am determined to lose this ass when my little one comes too.

Ingredients
1/2 c Ice
1/2 c Kashi GOLEAN Crunch! Cereal
1 c Yogurt
1 c Frozen blueberries or another berry or fruit of your choice
1 tb Flaxseed oil, or seeds

I wish you so much luck with your diet! Tomorrow's a big day for you in lots of ways.

When I got married, they sent me a wedding dress taht was a size too small without enough time to re-order. I had to diet and decided to do it in a healthy way. I used "The Sonoma Diet" which is a very healthy diet that concentrates on homemade meals with very little sugar. Now that I'm on the gestational diabetes diet, I find it's the same thing. It's kept me from gaining too much weight during pregnancy, and I feel very healthy in my eating habits.
