10-9-2008 - Worried at Work

My mood while writing this blog: Upset

I finally talked to her and told her how worried I had been and to let me know next time when they leave the house and to also be sure to answer her cell phone when I call. She apologized and said she hated she had me worried but they had just been over to her sister's house visiting as I figured. I couldn't wait to pick him up today and hug him considering how worried I had been about him. Take care ladies...

Well London has been going to his sitter (good friend of the family) for about a month now and as most of you can imagine I used to call and check on him several times a day, but since he has gotten comfortable being with her and I feel comfortable with her, I usually just call and check on him once a day.

So today I call and her son answers the phone and says that she took him for a walk in the stroller. Keep in mind I didn't give her his stroller so I said "Oh she has a stroller" and he was like "Yes" and its a good one she got from her sister who also baby sits a baby. So anyways I said OK, have her give me a call, I am just trying to call and check on London. This was around 11:30...so I go to lunch as I am at work and I give her a call back around 1:15pm and this time I get no answer at her house and then I proceed to call her cell phone in which I get no answer and I leave a message. I checked my caller ID to see if she called while I was out at lunch and she had not. I am getting very worried about my baby and then I am also "pissed" she didn't let me know she would be away from the house today with my baby. Now her sister lives in the same apartment complex that she does so I am assuming maybe she went over there and hasn't returned, but the fact of matter is that she needs to have her cell phone on her and answer when I call.

I can hardly concentrate at work the rest of this afternoon and I have this nervous butterfly feeling in my stomach b/c I don't know whats going on and haven't heard on how my baby is doing all day. My husband also keeps calling and is worried along with my mother.

I just needed to vent to you ladies...thanks for listening.
