09-12-2008 - Triplets' 1st Birthday

My mood while writing this blog:
Depressed

Ok...I've been dreading this day for a long time. Sam, Katie, & Shannon turn 1 years old today. I can't stop thinking about what we all went through that morning and the days that followed. I keep imagining what they might look like now, a whole year later, digging into their cakes with a big #1 on them, frosting all over their faces. Bobby and I will go to the cemetary as soon as I can get dressed. My sister made a mini Christmas Tree for them and decorated it with a bow and with snowmen garland, so we're going to plant that for them today, hopfully the ground won't be too frozen! We're also going to do some shopping to try and keep my mind off of things. As sad as this sounds, if I don't think about my little girls, I'm OK. The second I come back into reality, it's the waterworks. My face is so puffy from crying, I swear I would have run out of tears a long time ago, but they just keep coming! ugh O well, I can get through this....thank you all so much for all of your support and encouragement. It really does mean a lot to me.

I cannot truly understand the pain you are going through, but I can empathize. My heart goes out to you & Bobby. Just remember that it's ok to cry tears of sorrow, but soon they will turn to tears of joy, only 94 more days until you get to celebrate a new birthday! Take care you 2!

Remember that they are gone but never forgotten!! It is OK to feel this way, no matter how much time passes, they were a part of your life and always will be until the day you can see them again in heaven. GOd bless you!!
