My mood while writing this blog: Sick

What a fiasco...

I started getting sick on Monday, sore throat, stuffy nose, typical cold symptoms. I took a nap when I got home from work, and actually felt worse. Took my temp, 100.7. Thought a shower might help me feel better, I even let the water go cool to help bring my temp down. I got out, dried off, did my hair, took it again, it was now 101.3. WTF Now my muscles are starting to hurt, I'm getting that distorted image thing you get when you get fevers, so I called the on-call doc and he said to take tylenol and get seen tomorrow (tuesday). So I did, and during the course of the night, I woke up in a sweat, thinking my fever had broken, it was now down to 99.2. Woohoo! Woke up and hour later around 2:30am, back up to 102.5. WTF lol So Tuesday my doc squeezed me in, and immediately admitted me to the hospital. My temp spiked to 103.0 and the baby was in distress, almost had him Tuesday afternoon, very scary. They ruled out Pneumonia, but still didn't know what was going on. So my official diagnosis was the flu, and I also have a sinus infection :o( But the baby is doing much better, I still feel like shit. Work won't leave me alone, gotta know what's going on every minute of every day. SO ANNOYING! But I'm finally home and now I'm just blah lol but no more fevers, thank goodness...I feel so aweful b/c now my husband is starting to get sick. We've been together going on 9 years, and not only has he never gotten sick from me, he hasn't gotten sick ever! So seeing him actually come down with this and being so sick, I feel so aweful and I'm trying to help him and now he's getting mad at me b/c I'm still not recovered myself. I can't wait for this to be over. Dang flu shot didn't help me this time :o(
