11-2-2009 - 35Wk Appt

My mood while writing this blog:
Alright

So with high hopes for a good appointment today, it turned out just plain old OK. My bloodpressure was up a bit 130/80. She did the Group B Strep test, so I'll find out the result at my next appt, which I have this feeling it's going to be positive (it was for my 1st pregnancy). The she checked for dilation and efacement...nothing :o( Not even 1/2 a cm LOL such a disappointment. And to top it off, she said that I have a "boney pelvis". Not the words I would have liked to expect. Which ups my chance of having a C-Section. Not 100% set on the Section, but a bigger chance. O well, we'll just have to wait and see on that. And when she was checking, she said "wow, his head is really low." I just laughed. I know!!!!!! It's painful to walk to the bathroom every 5 minutes b/c of all the pressure down there! lol So next appt is the 25th, then I start the every week appointments :o0 30days and counting!!!

not much longer now:) Hope the strep test comes back neg. Dont worry about the no dialation as that can change in one day! Enjoy the last little bit of pregnancy:)

I am glad your appointment went okay even though you were hoping for different results. I find out my Strep B Test results next week. And I think after next week I start going every week too! I am hoping for some good results at my appointment, but not counting on it! : ) I think our little boys are going to be stubborn and come when they are ready not when we are! : ) HAHA!!!

Awe don't worry yourself until the next appt...I know it's hard but hopefully the Strep B comes back negative and you can delivery vaginally! Wooo you've made it this far :) wait it out I'm sure everything is fine!

That sounds like an OK visit hon :-) Stay optimistic for not having a C section. My strep B was positive I hope yours isn't. Glad your baby's head is low but sorry for the discomfort. I hope my guy finally has his head down for good he is running out of time.
